Whether you’re just putting on a face or applying the most sophisticated evening make-up, many of you are unsure about the products and tones to use: foundation or powder, eye-liner or pencil, which eyeshadow will bring out the best in your eyes, what colour should you use for you lips…

Good news for you and your friends – at their fifth centre, located at Bascule, Wax-Zone has just launched a truly delightful concept: Beauty School!

The approach might be educational, but the atmosphere is a cool as you can get, because this is just a few friends who want to look their best whatever the circumstances while relaxing with a drink.

While passing on her top tips on products and shades, plus how to avoid fatal mistakes, a qualified beautician will make up one half of the face of each participant, matching her complexion, skin type, hair and eye colour, and then let her copy that make-up on the other half. It’s a fun experience and uses the Italian PupaMilano products, which you can apply using just your fingers.

Your beautician will then explain the products (and how to use them) which help nourish your skin and make it glow; factors such as hydratation and nutrition, not forgetting the the most important beauty product – make-up remover! And to round it off, she’ll let you in on a few of the tricks and techniques of the top make-up artists.

The sessions are held between 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm (or by appointment, depending on availability) for groups of 4 friends.
